This proposal is meant to ensure that part-time faculty have the right to serve on university EISJ committees. We propose that:

• The elected part-time faculty union unit chair have the right to appoint two part-time faculty representatives to any university-wide committee devoted to Equity, Inclusions, and Social Justice (EISJ).

• Part-time faculty have the right to serve on all school- and college- wide committees devoted to EISJ on which full-time faculty have the right to serve.

• Part-time faculty have the right to a special meeting with the university’s labor relations team (a Labor Management Committee Meeting) to discuss part-time faculty involvement in EISJ committees.
