In this proposal, the committee asks the university to:

• Expand the retirement savings benefit to all part-time faculty who have taught at the university for at least one academic year.

• Allow faculty to take penalty-free distributions beginning at 59 ½ years of age, while they’re still employees of the University.

• Increase the university’s contribution from 10% to 15%.
