With this proposal, the committee presses the university to provide part-time faculty with adequate input into their program/departments curriculum by:

• Establishing a curriculum coordinator position or positions in each program/department.

• Allowing part-time faculty to nominate and vote on their program/department’s curriculum coordinator(s).

• Ensuring curriculum coordinators have the opportunity to work alongside full-time faculty and administrative staff to help develop their program/departments curriculum.

• Ensuring that every department/program has at least one, paid meeting for part-time faculty each semester devoted to discussing curriculum.
