This proposal seeks to ensure that class enrollments and course duration are pedagogically responsible by:

• Ensuring that faculty have input regarding their course’s max enrollment.

• Requiring the university to proactively seek this input by issuing a survey to part-time faculty regarding class sizes.

• Preventing the university from arbitrarily and capriciously increasing course max enrollment.

• Ensuring that faculty receive adequate notification in the event that the university wants to increase or decrease the length of their course.

• Ensuring that courses, chamber music, and ensembles meet for a minimum 14 hours each semester/term in Mannes Prep.
